What is the "dice popper" used for in the game?
On every turn the player who's turn it is starts with popping the dice popper and moving according to how the roll of the dice has stopped. The player must start with the popper and play the dice that have been rolled.
Do I get to move my opponent's "king" if I roll his colored die?
NO. You are not allowed to MOVE your opponent's KING, however, you can jump his king if it is in a position to be jumped, and remove it from the board.
Can I move my playing piece backwards?
NO. The playing pieces only move forward on the diagonal until they reach the other side of the playing board. At that time, this playing piece is "crowned" and is now a "KING". This playing piece can move in either direction on the board and this piece can not be moved by your opponent. The KING can be jumped by your opponent, it just can not be moved by your opponent into a position to his or her advantage.
When I roll the dice in the popper, can I split my move or do I have to move all at once?
Yes, you can move in any sequence. For example, if you pop 2 of your opponent's color and one of your own, you can move your opponent, then yourself, and then your opponent's piece, for your three moves.
